This website was developed as part of my assignment, with the aim of supporting graduates who are interested in starting their own business as a sole trader. Many graduates leave university with big ideas and ambitions, but the process of becoming self-employed can feel confusing, overwhelming, or full of jargon. I wanted to create something that makes the journey clearer, friendlier, and easier to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The site is structured into different phases \u2014 from brainstorming and validating an idea, to creating a simple business plan, registering with HMRC, and finally launching and growing the business. Each section is broken down into straightforward explanations, checklists, and resources that provide real, practical guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The purpose of this project is twofold: first, to meet the assignment requirements by designing and presenting a complete, informative website; and second, to create a tool that could actually help graduates take their first steps into self-employment with confidence. My goal was to combine research, design, and content creation into something that feels accessible, useful, and motivating for first-time entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
