This website was developed as part of my assignment, with the aim of supporting graduates who are interested in starting their own business as a sole trader. Many graduates leave university with big ideas and ambitions, but the process of becoming self-employed can feel confusing, overwhelming, or full of jargon. I wanted to create something that makes the journey clearer, friendlier, and easier to follow.

The site is structured into different phases — from brainstorming and validating an idea, to creating a simple business plan, registering with HMRC, and finally launching and growing the business. Each section is broken down into straightforward explanations, checklists, and resources that provide real, practical guidance.

The purpose of this project is twofold: first, to meet the assignment requirements by designing and presenting a complete, informative website; and second, to create a tool that could actually help graduates take their first steps into self-employment with confidence. My goal was to combine research, design, and content creation into something that feels accessible, useful, and motivating for first-time entrepreneurs.
